World Studies Then and Now: 8 Week Study Group

 

 

Aristotle noted that "In most respects, the future will be like what the past has been."

 

The first settlements and empires in the river valleys of ancient China, Mesopotamia, Fertile Crescent, and Egypt are areas of the world that are still of great importance in modern times. 

 

Participants will work as a 'Study Group', choose different countries, and research to examine their relevance today. We will have serious discussion, they will do research at home using the provided NotebookingPages.com's Country Study pages and create a Travel Brochure project.
